MQI contacts leaders of different parties for participation in Ghaza Conference

Minhaj-ul-Quran International has begun to extend invitations to the leaderships of different religious & political parties, members of civil society, businessmen and NGOs representatives for participation in the upcoming Ghaza Conference to be held on January 25 under its aegis. To-level delegations of MQI held meetings with political, religious personalities and businessmen in this regard. A delegation led by Secretary General of MQI, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, met Qazi Hussain Ahmad, the Amir of Jamat-i-Islami in Mansoora. Naib Nazim-e-Ala Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Liaqat Baloch and Dr Farid Paracha were also present at this occasion.

Principal Secretary to Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, G.M. Malik, called on former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi at his residence and invited him to take part in the Ghaza Conference. The leaders also exchanged views on matters of national mutual interest including national and international issues. They agreed that all issues should be resolved through consensus and dialogue. G.M. Malik also called on Mian Muzaffar, the president of Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry and extended him invitation for participation in the Conference. Secretary General MQI, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, phoned Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, Allama Sajid Mir, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Nawabzada Mansoor Ali Khan, Dr Sarfraz Naeemi, Dr Israr Ahmad, Hameed-ud-Din Mashriqi, Ijaz-ul-Haq, Hamayun Akhtar Khan, and PPP Secretary General Jahangir Bader and invited them for the conference. Besides this, Invitation letters have been dispatched to the representatives of traders, students, lawyers and teachers and other prominent personalities.
