Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri terms the killing of Baloch leaders a conspiracy against Pakistan
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), has condemned the killing of Baloch leaders in the strongest possible words. He termed these killings as a well-planned conspiracy to fan riots in the country on ethnic, regional, linguistic and political grounds. In a statement issued here by the Directorate of Media and Public Relations, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that some hidden hands, which had their links with oversees forces, were involved in destabilizing Pakistan. “The government should expose the hidden hands and take immediate steps to foil the conspiracies against national integrity,” he observed. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri warned that provincialism could undermine the country in collusion with terrorism and extremism if the government did not prove equal to the challenge. He also advised all political and religious parties to rise above their parochial interests and cooperate with one another in national interest.
