MWL holds two-day organizational training workshop at Gujranwala

A training workshop was organized by Minhaj-ul-Qura’n Women League Gujranwala at Shagun Marriage Hall on 16 August 2009. The Gujranwala WL Tanzeem invited all the appointment holders to attend the workshop and made extensive arrangements. Over 200 participants attended the workshop. The workshop formally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an followed by a beautiful Nasheed.
1st day proceedings
Shaykh Abdul Aziz Dabbagh spoke on what is Tehreek and what are the main objectives of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He said that MQI is a dynamic Movement with a comprehensive and practicable ideology. Its leadership has not only introduced the ideology but also provided a detailed strategy to be practically put into practice. He discussed the objectives of MQI one by one and urged the participants to prepare themselves well for various functions assigned to them by their leadership. He specially laid emphasis on purification of self without which no efforts can bring any fruit.
Sayyid Farhat Hussain Shah motivated the participants to know more and more about the valuable struggle Shaykh-ul-Islam has launched to make home to the world population as to what is the true identity of Islam, what it is and what is not. He mentioned his scholarly works like Ifan-ul-Quran, al-Minhaj as-Sawi, Jamius-Sunna (20 Volumes) and Seerat-ur-Rasul (12 volumes) He said that the hostile forces were fully engaged in distorting the identity of Islam through media but Shaykh-ul-Islam is a strong voice echoing all over the globe defending Islam as a religion of peace. He briefed the audience about Shaykh-ul-Islam's endeavours all over the globe and urged them to be in touch with the latest developments so that the MQI image could be projected effectively.
Mian Abdul Qadir delivered a comprehensive lecture on how we can enhance our numerical strength and what Women League can do in this regard. He developed his lecture with the participation of the audience with the help of multimedia and projected a well prepared presentation on the subject to the audience.
2nd day proceedings
Sumaira Rafaqat Advocate, Director Central Director Minhaj-ul-Qura’n Women League, delivered a comprehensive lecture on “Working Plan 2009-10 and how to execute the plan effectively.” She said this year focusing increase in manpower was top priority. She discussed with the participants at length the techniques and ways and means to invite influential ladies and acquire their active cooperation and ultimately make them join the MQI Women League. She also emphasized to promote the cause of MWL after doing homework and getting into the operational phase wisely and tactfully to get the maximum output with minimum output. During her talk she also explained the benefits of using latest technology as a tool to spread the message MQI and project the image of the MQI leadership effectively. She dynamically explained the importance of joining a Jama’at. She highlighted the importance of working collectively and cleared up all the common arguments against joining a Jama’at. She explained how Minhaj-ul-Qur’an's all-embracing and all-encompassing ideology revives all aspects of the dynamic life urged by Islam.
Sister Fareeha Khan (Nazima Dawat Women League) discussed briefly the aims & purposes of Dawat. She also explained the projects of Dawat including Halqa-e-Durood, Halqa-e-Irfan-ul-Qura’n, Dars-e-Qura’n, Qura’n Campaigns & Milaad Campaigns. She explained the procedure and terms and conditions to initiate a new Halqa-e-Durood and Halqa-e-Irfan-ul-Qura’n.
Sister Sajida Sadiq (Nazima M.S.M. Sisters MWL) delivered a motivational talk on the importance of students’ role in promoting the cause of Prophetic Mission. She quoted various examples from history to highlight the significance of Student’s role in various movements. She said that even in the life of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) it were the students of Suffa Academy who played a vital role to bring about a revolutionary change in the Arab Society. She discussed the working of M.S.M (Sisters) and briefed its projects.
Sister Marriam Hafeez (Naib Nazima Training MWL) gave an appealing talk on “How to train people to bring about a revolutionary change in society.” She said it was needed to change oneself in order to bring a positive change in society. She said that an individual’s change is the initial step towards the change in society. She said that Directorate of Training is working to train sisters on spiritual and moral bases. She discussed the projects of Directorate of Training including Zaad-Safer Report, CD Exchange System and workshops.
The day ended with special prayers.
