Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the globe on the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In his special message of greetings on the occasion, he said that the start of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness, and tranquility.
Arrangements for the 39th International Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference reviewed
The birthday celebrations of MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continue by MQI chapters across the world. For the workers of MQI, the day is an occasion to express gratitude to Allah Almighty and renew the commitment and pledge to work for the realisation of his message of peace and harmony. MQI Canada organized a Quaid Day celebration on February 20 in this regard.
A special prayer ceremony marking the 71st birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held at the central secretariat. Shaykh-ul-Islam attended the ceremony online. Pir Dewan Ahmad Masood Chishti, Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Baba Fareeduddin Masood Ganjshakar (R.A), presided over the ceremony. In addition to President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Altaf Hussain Gillani, GM Malik, Dr Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawwad Hamid, Mazhar Alvi, Irfan Yousaf, Farah Naz, Sidra Karamat, a large number of MQI and PAT workers and leaders attended the ceremony.
President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that we will be blessed with real love of the Holy Prophet (SAW) only when we reform ourselves and improve our moral conduct. He said that the claims of love do not have any importance in the absence of the fulfillments of rights and duties.
Addressing a Milad gathering in Gujranwala, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the sign of a true love for the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is to act upon his teachings, obey him (pbuh) and adopt his exalted way of life. He said that MQI is working day in and day out to promote the obedience of the Holy Prophet. He said that there is a need to mould our lives in line with the beloved Prophet's (pbuh) character and blessed life.
In order to celebrate the birth of the beloved Prophetﷺ and to highlight the merciful and compassionate nature of his teachings, Minhaj-ul-Quran International India volunteers participated in various religious, educational and welfare activities across India during the entire month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Mercy to Humanity: Muhammad (PBUH) Conference was held in RBC Theatre in Living Arts Center in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada under the banner of Muslim Youth League of Canada on November 6, 2021. The event brought youth from across the Greater Toronto Area together to celebrate the love the Canadian youth have for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The keynote address was delivered by Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri who spoke about the merciful and tolerant character of our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Canada to host "Milad-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference" this Monday, October 25th. President MWL International Dr. Ghazala Qadri would be joining as a keynote speaker for the conference.
A delegation of renowned religious scholars from various schools of thought called on Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI, to share a day of spiritual significance, the jubilance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, and to pay homage to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on October 20, 2021.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri hosted a Milad feast and Naat gathering on October 19 at the Aiwan-e-Quaid in connection with Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh). MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Barrister Amir Hassan, Christian leader Dr Majid Abel and a large number of workers, MQI leaders and the people of the neighbourhood attended the ceremony.
Addressing the 38th International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference held at Minar-e-Pakistan, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he started the work on exegesis of the Holy Quran 20 years ago which was completed on the blessed day of the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. He said that this exegesis is in Arabic language consisting of 16 volumes, stating that alongside, a summary of the exegesis has also been written in five volumes. He further said its English and Urdu translations will be completed soon as well.
On the 18th of October 2021, during the blessed night of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham organised Mahfil e Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) at Masjid As Shefa Bobbersmill Community Centre Nottingham UK. Alhamdulillah, it was a very successful programme. From the very beginning, Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham and Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Nottingham have been working together in Nottingham.
After a long year due to the corona pandemic, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, The Hague, organized a daily Milad program from the 1st of the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awal to the 12. The gatherings that were held daily were attended by members of Muslim community. The major event was Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference that was held on the 12th of Rab-ul-Awwal. The local scholars where invited daily to give inspiring lectures and make the participants aware of various facets of the blessed life of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
Canada: Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri to address Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference
The arrangements for the 38th International Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference have been completed. The mega event will take place at historic Minar-e-Pakistan on the intervening night of October18-19. More than fifty thousand families have been invited from Lahore alone. Thousands of people will come from across the country to express their love of their beloved Prophet (pbuh).
Addressing a Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Canada, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, the grandson of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has said that Allah Almighty endows high ranks, superiority and greatness on his prophets. He said that there are four meanings of the word 'Nabi' and these four meanings represent the grace and higher station of the prophets. No doubt Allah bestowed these four attributes on every prophet but combined all of them in the person of the Holy Prophet (pbuh).
Addressing a "Mohsin-e-Insaniyat (pbuh) Conference" held under the banner of the MQI Interfaith Relations and Punjabi Sikh Sangat in Nankana sahib, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was sent as a prophet of mercy for all the worlds. He said that history has been made on the land of Nankana sahib as the birthday of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is being celebrated at Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib, adding that the world will remember this show of interfaith harmony for a long time to come.
Milad feasts, an annual feature of MQI's programs for the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, continue to take place at the central secretariat. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended one such feast as a special guest. Naat khawan had the honour to recite Naat in the honour of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
A joint Milad gathering and feast was held at the central secretariat under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences. COSIS students and teachers as well as the MQI leaders attended the gathering. The proceedings of the event started off with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by Naat sharif. These gatherings will continue to take place until the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Addressing the ceremony, Director Training Prof. Mohibullah Azhar said that Uswa-e-Rasool (pbuh) teaches us to forget our mutual differences and promote brotherhood in a spirit of love.
