Al-hamdulillah by the grace of Almighty Allah (swt), the mercy of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa salim and by the Faiz and Barakah of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam his eminence Prof Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri the MWL (Muslim Women League) Sheffield, was able to organise and arrange a Mawlid Un Nabi Conference. The conference began with the divine and awe inspiring words of Almighty Allah with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Sr Khola followed by naat-e-Rasool of Sisters Rubab, Nafeesa.
The initial months of the year 2006 brought confusion and chaos affecting the world at large when the blasphemous caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) were published first in "Jallandus Posten", and later in some other European newspapers. Resultantly, Muslims all over the world recorded their protest showing deep love and intimacy with the last Prophet of God. However, in some countries the furore was at its peak putting on fire the Danish Embassies and engulfing precious lives. In Pakistan too, five men lost their lives in the fiery protest in addition to setting on fire the public property, needless to mention Punjab provincial Assembly. At that grave and critical juncture, Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League and Mustafavi Students Movement decided to adopt a distinct but civilized and meaningful way of demonstration by introducing a new trend in protest.
Alhamdulillahi Ta'ala by the grace of Almighty Allah, the mercy of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salim and by the Faiz and Barakah of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam his eminence Prof Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri the MYL (Muslim Youth League) have been enabled to organise and arrange the Milad-e-Mustafa celebrations.
The month of the Eid of All eids has finally come upon us. Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) has began festivities in the form of many functions and events. One of those daily functions is grand Mawlid dinners. MQI has the honour reviving the great tradition of grand feasts during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Mawlid gatherings and feasts together with Mawlid marches were an annual practice in Makkah and the rest of the Arab world for centuries up until the beginning of the 20th century. This practice has began at MQI in Lahore and all over the world. There will be daily feasts from the 1st to the 11th of Rabi-ul-Awwal then the Grand Mawlid dinner at Minar-e-Pakistan will be on the night of the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
To share the joys of Christmas and New Year with Christian brothers and sisters, MQI managed an exquisite program at the Central Secretariat. Renowned politicians and intellectuals from both the communities were invited to the program and was presided by Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri (Founder & Patron in Chief Minhaj ul Quran International & Chairman Muslim Christian Dialogue Forum.)

Alhumduliah by the Grace and Blessings of Allah Almighty a Darse Qur’an class for women has been running in the London Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Islamic Centre for many years. Ladies who were not fortunate in learning to read the Holy Qur’an in their childhood or learnt it incorrectly have benefited greatly from these classes. Despite many obstacles these classes have been running successfully. Every Tuesday morning, without fail, rain or shine, the Darse Qur’an class has continued to run. May Allah ta’ala Bless all the women who have attended, as well as those who have taken time out from their home and work duties and been responsible in organising them.
The youth sisters read nasheeds/naats and did short talks in English on the life, status and seerah of the Holy Prophet (saw). The host of the program was sister Saba Mustafa Khan, president of the Sisters Youth League, who conducted the program both in English and Urdu. The guest speaker was Sister Asma Alim from Manchester and Sister Rukhsana Mustafa Khan headed the event and was the main organizer on behalf of the Women League.

On the 11th of April 2004 a big culture gathering, called a MINA BAZAR was arranged by Minahj-ul-Quran women youth league sisters in our Idara which is an Islamic Center in Copenhagen The aim of the event was two fold. Firstly we wanted to attract new sisters to our centre who do not normally attend Islamic events and talks, feeling intimidated and sometimes just think Islam is boring. Alhumdulilah with the Grace of Almighty Allah we had a very good turn out. Sisters from all walks of life came; including those who perhaps have never attended a program organized by Hijaabis also came along and enjoyed themselves immensely! Many students currently studying in Idara Minhaj-ul-Quran arrived with their mothers who liked the atmosphere.
Breaks were provided for Salah times and the sisters were encouraged to pray too.
