Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the Islamic teachings of brotherhood provided strong foundations of self-sufficiency, self-reliance and economic foundations to Islamic state. He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) knitted Ansars and Muhjirs in a relationship of brotherhood and protected their economic rights and made them stand up on their feet in the State of Medina.

Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Christian faith leaders attended the Milad feast arranged by Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) at the central secretariat during 12 days of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), attended virtually a parliamentary meeting of Minhajians Forum that consists of the graduates and scholars of College of Shariah and Modern Sciences.
On the direction of Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, an emergency meeting of the Central Working Council (CWC) was held here at the central secretariat. The meeting decided to donate one day’s salary of the staff of MQI secretariat to the flood-related welfare activities. On the direction of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the CWC also set up a committee to consider the concession in fees of the students whose houses were destroyed and the businesses of their parents were affected in the floods.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the Muslim world on the auspicious occasion of Hajj. He said that pilgrimage is one of the great pillars of Islam and a symbol of the unity of the faithful. He said the practices performed as part of pilgrimage teach us equality, tolerance, moderation and peace. He said Hajj and sacrifice remind us of the great sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and Hazrat Ismail (as).
Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that Islam is a religion that protects human rights and strongly forbids humiliation and ridicule of others. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has given us practical and golden teachings about every aspect of life, which guarantee balance and harmony in how we live.
Quran khawani and Dua ceremonies for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy continue to take place across the world including Pakistan on the completion of the eight years of the massacre. A delegation of PAT and MQI led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur visited the residences of the martyrs and met with their family members. They did Fateha khawani for the departed souls and expressed their solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that eight years have gone by since the Model Town tragedy was perpetrated. He said that despite the passage of such a long time, the provision of justice does not seem to be in sight. He said what to speak of justice, the oppressed have not got the right to fair investigation and they are going from pillar to post for their basic rights. He said that the accused are benefiting from the pending appeals.
