Addressing "Ittihad-e-Ummat" Conference held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, MQI president Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that there is a need to promote brotherhood, tolerance, and acceptance of each other's viewpoint in the society. He asked the Mashaykh and religious scholars to impart teaching of love, brotherhood, and forbearance from the pulpit.

A prayer ceremony was organized as part of celebrations marking the 69th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at the central secretariat after Isha prayers on Feb 19. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the programme through video link. It consisted of recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat and singing of Qawwalis. Renowned Qawwal Sher Ali & Mehr Ali performed on the occasion and mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice.
Ibrar-ul-Haq calls on Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Quran Khawani was held for the late mother of MQI Canada leader Khawaja Kamran Rashid. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the program and spoke to the participants. Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri and the workers and leaders of MQI Canada and a large number of people from the Pakistani community attended the Quran Khawani.
Minhaj University Lahore’s Seekers Club headed by Ms. Ammara Qadri organized an annual Sirat Conference ﷺ. Vice-Chancellor MUL Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad was the keynote speaker at the event. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, while speaking on the occasion said,’’ Islam has given laws based on the Book of Allah, which were preached and practiced by the last Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Addressing a ceremony held in COSIS, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has asked the government to give the rights and respect to the disabled people. He said being kind to those who are left behind due to physical disability is the excellence of manners. He said fake promises were made with the physically challenged people in the past and they were ridiculed.
Addressing National Students Convention in Al-Hamrah Cultural Complex near Qaddafi Stadium on December 1, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said twenty-two educational policies were made from 1947 to date and all of them have proved to be a failure. He said curriculum in one language will have to be designed to achieve the objective of one nation, one country.

A ceremony marking the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak was held at Gurdwara Baba Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai, UAE on November 15, 2019. Sardar Surender Singh Kandhari was the host of the ceremony. Chief Guest on the occasion was Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Religious Tolerance Dr Hammad Al-Shaykh Al-Shaibani. A large number of people belonging to different communities and walks of life including the Indians and Pakistanis attended the ceremony.
The proceedings of 36th annual International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference have begun at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan. It is the biggest event in the Islamic world being held annually under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The caravans of hundreds of thousands of people have started pouring in. Women and children are also attending the Conference in large numbers for whom separate seating arrangements have been made.
Addressing a seminar in Karachi University on the topic of the Quran and the Modern Age, Chairman MQI Supreme Council has said the way the Divine Book fulfilled the social, political, economic and scientific demands of 14 centuries ago, the imperatives of the 21st century are being addressed by it as well. He said the blessings of the Holy Quran will continue to enlighten humanity till the Day of Judgment.

Addressing the Conference, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is celebrated to renew the pledge of loyalty and obedience and strengthen our bond of reverence for the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said it is an article of faith with us that Allah Almighty sent the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him) as a mercy for all the worlds, stating those who follow his Sunna cannot go astray.
