Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, founding-leader of MQ, has congratulated the people of Pakistan and the Muslims around the world on the start of the holy month of Ramadan. In a felicitation message, he said that we should welcome this blessed month with zeal and zest and use this great opportunity to enrich ourselves with its blessings. He said Ramadan is Allah's guest and requires of the Muslims to show steadfastness, sacrifice, and piety.
Addressing the senior students of COSIS, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that religious seminaries have an important to play in the provision of education. He said that hundreds of thousands of students are getting education from Madaris, a reality which cannot be denied. He, however, underlined the need of placing them under a proper system so that no one is able to bring a bad name to Islam and Pakistan by exploiting Madaris.

A delegation of scholars belonging to South Africa, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda that is on a visit to Pakistan on the invitation of International Islamic University called on Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri at the central secretariat.
Deputy Chairman of Board of Governors of Minhaj University Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that an end to the exploitation of every kind and injustice is a prerequisite to eradicate extremism. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri addresses OIC conference on the role of education in prevention of terrorism and extremism
Addressing the concluding session of the OIC in Riyadh earlier today, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the head of MQI, has said that conservatism leads to extremism which then generates terrorism. He said that this human tragedy does not take place overnight. Rather it has dynamic variables, stating that purposeful educational system is of fundamental importance in fighting this scourge in a comprehensive manner.
This was a cold day of February 6, 2019, when MQI received invitation for Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri from OIC regarding the conference on “The Role of Education in the Prevention of Terrorism and Extremism”, which would be held in the second week of April 2019. After the acceptance of invitation, literature preparation started. Shaykh-ul-Islam selected some topics and worked continuously.
