Talking to media persons in Riyadh, MQI leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he has come to Saudi Arabia to attend the OIC meeting on the invitation of the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) where he will deliver his speech. He said that terrorism and extremism are sore points for the Muslim world and the fact that the OIC is taking up these issues for collective deliberation augurs well.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is leaving for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, today to attend the OIC meeting. He will deliver a speech on counter-terrorism and present recommendations for the eradication of extremism. The OIC has extended a special invitation to Dr Qadri to participate in its meeting. A special session has been arranged for his speech as well as questions and answers.
MQI leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri reached Riyadh airport on the morning of April 7 where the OIC official received him warmly. He is being accompanied by Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri during the visit. Dr Qadri has gone to Saudi Arabia on the special invitation of the OIC to attend its meeting set to take place on April 09-10 where he will deliver his special address on the topic of counterterrorism besides participating in Q&A session.

Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that extremism of every kind including religious extremism and terrorism, racism and religious and political sectarianism is a threat to peace and stability of the world. He said that the attitude of the government and the people of New Zealand towards the Muslims is compassionate and humane after the Christchurch tragedy, which will help address the security concerns found among the Muslims after the tragedy.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the incident of terrorism in New Zealand. He said that we are horrified by the scale of tragedy wherein innocent people were massacred in two Mosques in Christchurch. He said that he cannot find words to express the sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives.

Sunday 3rd march was Visit my Mosque day and Walsall MQI was visited by Michaela Youngson and Rachel Parkinson from the Methodist Church along with other Methodist members. This event had been organised by Minhaj Sisters as part of our ongoing interfaith work. The event started with tilawat e Quran which our Christian guests enjoyed and after introductions members of MQI Walsall spoke about various projects of MQI especially PEP and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's fatwa on terrorism.
MQI France holds Conference on Islam as Religion of Peace
An introductory ceremony of the "Quranic Encyclopedia by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri" was held under the banner of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) France on February 28, 2019. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony, whereas Pakistan Ambassador to France H.E. Moin-ul-Haq was the guest of honour.
