Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Japan

MQI has established eight centers in Japan: Nigoya, Ibarakai, Guma Ken, Shizaku Ken, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba Ken and Toyama. Japan is a country where a large number of followers of Buddhism live. It is very important and advanced country of the world. The work of Minhaj-ul-Quran International had started much earlier in Japan. MQI owns two Islamic centres in Japan and Shaykh-ul-Islam has undertaken many visits of Japan starting from his first visit in February 1993. During his second tour in October 1994, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri made wide-ranging interactions with the followers of Buddhism and delivered many speeches. A good number of Pakistanis live in Japan who take keen interest in listening to the moral and spiritual lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam. Only recently, the associates of Minhaj-ul-Quran International have bought land with the financial support of the organization for the construction of a mosque.
