Sangla Hill: Dr Hassan Mohi ud Din Qadri to address Milad e Mustafa ﷺ Conference
Why do we celebrate Milad-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)? Among many reasons, one is that when we recite nasheed in the praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, it creates a spiritual attachment and passion inside us. With that passion, a fountain of love emerges as we listen to the nasheed. And when we talk about the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his life, good deeds and how he came as mercy to mankind, then a second fountain emerges, the fountain of Ittiba, the following of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
To highlight the merciful and compassionate nature of teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Minhaj Youth League India volunteers participated in various educational and welfare activities across India on the occasion of birth of the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). A short summary of the events done in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is being given below:
On the 24th December 2017 Minhaj-ul-Quran Derby organised Annual Melad in the Derby Jamia Mosque. A large number of brothers and sisters including children attended the programme. The programme, which started after Asar with the recitation of Holy Quran, was followed by beautiful Naats from local naat khawans. In his English Speech, Hafiz Faizan e Muhammad emphasised the importance and benefits of following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
The program was arranged by the scholars of MQI Glasgow as well as the Shariah class brothers and sisters on Sunday 17th December. The event was themed around the blessed birth of the Beloved Prophet (Peace be upon Him) and also the concept of peace, unity and mercy. The program conveyed all of these messages and also the amount of work and effort put in by the youngsters who devoted their time to learn about the Beloved of Allah (Peace be upon Him).
