Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Italy

Italy is regarded among the developed and economically prosperous countries of Europe. As for religions, it enjoys historical significance because it also houses the centre of Christianity known as 'Vatican city'. The formal inception of the MQI organizational work in Italy was accomplished in 1996 though it was already underway informally before its formal launching. The Islamic centre located in Milan [Milano] is owned by Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Today provincial chapters of Minhaj-ul-Quran have also been established, whereas five Islamic centres have already been built up.

Shaykh-ul-Islam paid his first ever visit to Italy in 1997 and organizational work was launched on that occasion. He has been frequently visiting Italy, enlightening the dedicated MQI team with the ardent love for the mission and providing them guidance to propmote the cause of the mission. Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered lectures especially on mysticism, spiritualism and morality. Due to the diligent efforts of these Islamic centres, the teachings of Islam are spreading fast and Muslims of these countries hold the services of these centres in high esteem.
