Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved by death of Justice (r ) Dr Javed Iqbal

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the demise of renowned intellectual, scholar, and jurist Justice (r ) Dr Javed Iqbal who breathed his last today while struggling with cancer.

In his condolence message to the bereaved family, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Dr Javed Iqbal was a great scholar and noted intellectual of our times, who contributed meaningfully to the body of knowledge on philosophy, jurisprudence and ideology of Pakistan. He said that in the death of Dr Javed Iqbal, Pakistan has been deprived of a true scholar. He said that Dr Javed Iqbal has left precious wealth of knowledge behind, which will continue to be source of guidance for the nation.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
