Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri reaches Lahore, demands justice for Model Town tragedy
LAHORE: Flight carrying Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport early Wednesday morning. He has now reached his house in Model Town, Lahore however.
Supporters gathered in large numbers to give Qadri a warm welcome upon his arrival at the airport.
Addressing his followers, Qadri said he plans to hold a sit-in in front of Punjab Assembly on June 17 to demand justice for those who lost their loved ones in the Lahore Model Town tragedy. He called upon the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to take action on the FIR of the incident that he had filed.
