PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the suicide blast at the Chairing Cross this evening. He expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives. He said that he was shaken by the loss of precious lives, adding that words are not enough to condemn barbarity of terrorists. He said that the blast is a collective failure of government and law enforcement agencies.
Dr Qadri further stated that those who put the issue of NAP and the military courts in cold storage are answerable to families of martyrs. He said that peaceful protest is one of fundamental rights of every citizen but added in the same breath that the government failed to secure life and property of citizens this time as well. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant speedy recovery to the injured.
