Trump Administration should reverse its decision on Jerusalem: PAT Chairman
In a statement issued here from central secretariat, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has demanded of the Trump Administration to reverse the decision of according recognition to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. He said that the Muslim world as well as international community have been disappointed with the decision of the US, stating that the peace process in the Middle East, which was already stalled, has been dealt a lethal blow in the wake of this policy reversal. He said that the Muslims expected that the US would play the role of a neutral arbiter in the decades-old conflict but this decision has been against their expectations. He said that the Administration’s decision is contrary to all efforts being made for peace in the region and hence its reversal is inevitable.

The Muslim world thought of the US as a mediator. Trump's policy reversal has caused a setback to the peace efforts in Middle East. The hopes of a durable peace have been shattered. #Jerusalem
