27th death anniversary of Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A) observed

A ceremony marking the 27th death anniversary of Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A), spiritual patron of MQI, was held here at the Ghousia shrine in Township, Lahore, on August 6. Pir al-Sayyid Mahmood Muhyiuddin al-Qadri al-Gillani started the proceedings of the anniversary. The grave of Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani was bathed with rose water, and Fateha was done.

A huge delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur participated in the ceremony. A large number of followers and spiritual disciples of Pir sahib were also in attendance on the occasion. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur laid the 'chaddar' on the shrine and recited Fateha. The main ceremony followed by the Naat gathering was held in the courtyard of the shrine in which renowned Naat khawan of the country had the honour to recite the Naat. The ceremony came to an end with Dua of Pir al-Sayyid Mahmood Muhyiuddin al-Qadri al-Gillani.
