Acquiring knowledge binding on every Muslim: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said acquiring knowledge is binding on every Muslim. He said the knowledge about the kind of conduct and behavior Allah and His Prophet (SAW) want from the believers is present in the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunna. He said those who could not get the opportunity to learn about religious teachings should be educated about it at their doorstep. He said Allah Almighty gave the duty of educating and preaching others to the followers of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while talking to the office holders of the Academy of Islamic Sciences established by Directorate of Training. He also congratulated them for the amazing work they were doing to promote Quranic teachings. He said those who teach the holy Quran are blessed people.
Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi briefed Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri about the activities of the Directorate of Training. He said the 45-day Islamic learning course is being conducted successfully since September. He said the learning course has five modules, which include a diploma in Quranic studies, Irfan-ul-Aqaid course, and Irfan-ul-Fiqa course. The successful graduates of these courses were also part of the delegation that called on Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.
Meanwhile, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited a private hospital in Lahore to inquire after renowned spiritual personality Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Koreja, Sajjada-e-Nasheen of Darbar Kot Mithan Sharif. He conveyed him the best wishes and message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to Khawaja sahib. He also prayed for his early recovery.
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur was also present on the occasion.
