He said the people of Pakistan and MQI workers were with their brothers and sisters who were braving harsh weather conditions and attendant miseries.

He said the people of the snow-hit areas in Balochistan, and AJK will be needing food, medicines, fuel and warm beds, stating that the federal and provincial governments must be attending to these requirements in the first place.
Dr Qadri said the relevant government institutions would have done the damage need assessment by now and in case there is a massive need for essential items, the government should not delay in launching a drive for this purpose. He said roads have been blocked due to snowfall and land sliding, suggesting the helicopters should be used to reach the stranded people.

He also directed MWF and local branches of MQI to immediately take part in the relief activities. He asked the workers to get information before embarking on the relief missions.
