Progress of Pakistan linked to education & research: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
A delegation of the MQI Multan chapter led by the district president Yasir Irshad Dewan called on Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the Lahore secretariat. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hassan said that MQI set up more than 600 educational institutions across the country under Minhaj Education Society in which 1.5 lac children are getting an education, whereas 15000 teachers are busy imparting education. He said that in addition to playing his role in the increase in the literacy rate, MQI is also the source of generating jobs.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Shaykh-ul-Islam is on the mission to establish 100 educational institutions on the pattern of Ali Garh. He said MQI under his visionary leadership is setting up educational institutions for imparting quality education and moral training to the children belonging to the poor households and far-flung areas in particular. He said that Pakistan will progress through the promotion of education and research.
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Naib Nazim-e-Aala Media Affairs Noorullah Siddiqui, and Director Minhaj Welfare Foundation Syed Amjad Ali Shah were also present on the occasion. Zaman Khan Awan, Makhdoom Shahbaz Hashmi, Chaudhry Javed Bandesha, and Khalid Mahmood Khan were among the delegation.
Yasir Irshad Dewan briefed the Chairman Supreme Council about the construction work on the central Mosque and Islamic Centre. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri advised that the building of the Islamic Centre should be constructed in a manner as to fulfill the educational, training, religious, and spiritual needs of the people.
