Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri holds a special sitting with families of central leaders, officeholders of MQI
Addressing a reception held in the honor of the families of the central leaders and staff members of MQI, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that there is a great reward for those who support the men and women in their families busy in the work of the faith. He said that MQI is like a family and the families of those who are engaged in the mission of propagating the message of Islam are part of the larger Tehreeki family.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri referred to a verse of the Holy Quran wherein Allah Almighty says: "The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and they enjoin what is wrong." He said that MQI is protecting the teachings of Islam in the modern age marked by mischiefs. He said that enjoining what is good and what is bad is the mission of the prophets and it is for this reason that it has an unlimited reward.
The sitting of Tehreeki families with Shaykh-ul-Islam took place at the central secretariat on the night of November 21. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri were also present on the occasion. A large number of central leaders and their families attended the training sessions.
Those present on the occasion included Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, GM Malik, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah, Noorullah Siddiqui, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Haji Manzoor Hussain Qadri, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Shahid Latif, Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry Advocate, Ms. Farah Naz, Ms. Sidra Karamat, etc.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Engineer Rafique Najam, Ms. Farah Naz and Sidra Karamat presented the performance report of various departments that played an important role in making the International Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference a success. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his happiness on the occasion and conveyed congratulations to the concerned leaders individually.
The sitting was preceded by a dinner in the honor of the families.
