Itikaf City 2022 starts under MQI

The city of repentance, rectification of deeds, purification of soul, understanding of Deen, known by the name of Itikaf City, has been established with thousands of the faithful participating. The vast building attached with Minhaj College for Women has been allocated for female Mutakifeen where thousands of women are enjoying the spiritual environment.

Despite the scorching heat and extreme weather, thousands of Mutakifeen headed towards the Jamy al-Minhaj with religious fervor and enthusiasm. The administration of Itikaf City has made exemplary arrangements to facilitate Mutakifeen from intense heat.

Strict security measures have been put in place in Itikaf City given the law and order situation in the country. To meet this end, the security teams comprised of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League and Mustafavi Students Movement are performing the duties to ensure the fool-proof security. CCTV cameras have been installed at different locations to ensure the security of Mutakifeen.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver a special series of lecture on ‘Taharat al-Qulub (Purification of the heart)’ on daily basis after Isha prayers and ‘Trawih’. The speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam and other events taking place at Itikaf City will be broadcast live around the world through the Minhaj.TV.
