Company shapes our temperament & thinking pattern: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
The Holy Quran has taught us to desist from committing evil and performing worship according to our capacity. Those who think that they will gradually move away from evil suffer from satanic delusion. The youth should block the evil thoughts in such a manner as the unwanted phone calls are blocked. As long as one is under the influence of evil, one would not be able to enjoy the benefits of piety.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing the thousands of the faithful at Itikaf City of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He said that good and evil are two extremes and cannot go hand in hand. He said that it cannot happen that one usurps the rights of the orphan, snatches the morsel of the bread from the poor through illegal profiteering, and then goes on holy pilgrimage. Terming it as hypocrisy, he said that such a life will not benefit anyone.
Former Chief Minister Punjab Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and former manager of Pakistan Cricket Board Azhar Zaidi especially visited Itikaf City. They said that they were impressed by the arrangements made for the residents of Itikaf City. They said that it is a great training place to understand the essence of religion and focus on character building.
Manzoor Wattoo broke his fast in Itikaf City. He congratulated Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on the best arrangements and said that it is a matter of great luck that there is the personality of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri present among us to guide and mentor our youth along the right path in this day and age of mischief.
Athar Zaidi said on the occasion that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is offering Quranic cure for the internal ailments and showing the right path to our youth in this period of massive disappointment. He said that the presence of such scholars in society is a huge blessings.
Meanwhile, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Muhammad Rafique Najam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, and Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi delivered lectures on various aspects of excellence of morality. Mufti-e-Azam Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi answered the questions of the participants of Itikaf City on various topics.
