The 31st Urs of Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani al-Baghdadi (R.A) gets underway

Spiritual and prayer ceremonies marking the 31st ‘Urs’ of Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani al-Baghdadi (R.A) have begun in different parts of the world including in Darbar-e-Ghosia Township Lahore. The ceremony in Lahore got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat, bathing of the shrine and laying of a wreath.

Sahibzada Pir Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jamal-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani, Sahibzada Sayyid Ahmad Noor-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani, Sahibzada Sayyid Yahya Shams-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani began the rites by bathing the shrine. MQI leaders Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Haji Amin Qadri, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Abid Bashir Qadri, Hafiz Muhammad Asghar, Haji Muhammad Yousaf Mottiwala, Qari Muhammad Afzal Qadri, Rana Muhammad Ashraf Qadri, Malik Muhammad Ashraf Qadri, and large number of MQI workers, members of Bazm-e-Qadria, were present on the occasion.

The participants continued to recite Durood as ‘ghusal’ and ‘chadar poshi’ were performed, which created a spiritual environment. Sahibzada Pir Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jamal-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani made Dua for peace, prosperity and progress of the country.
