Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inspects Qurbani arrangements

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the central slaughter house set by Minhaj Welfare Foundation and inspected the arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hassan Qadri said that the obligation of offering sacrifice binds Muslims in a bond of equality and brotherhood. He said that during the sacred days of Eid, the same kind of food is cooked in the homes of the rich and the poor and the affluent people of society become the host of the less affluent ones. He said that the spirit of brotherhood and equality is the highlight of Islamic teachings.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated Faisal Hussain Mash’hadi, managing director of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, and his team on making excellent arrangements for the slaughter. He said that MWF lives up to the trust of the people who take part in collective sacrifice. He prayed for blessings and success of MWF volunteers for their service. “May Allah accept the dedication and commitment with which MWF is working,” he added.

Briefing the Chairman Supreme Council, Faisal Hussain said that the arrangements have been made to deliver meat to the people keeping in view the extreme weather conditions. He said healthy animals were bought for the sacrifice and whole process from the slaughter to making of the meat to its distribution would be completed in line with the established SOPs.

Those present on the occasion included Jawwad Hamid, Noorullah Siddiqui, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Engineer Sanaullah Khan, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Mansoor Qasim Awan, Muhammad Ilyas Dogar, Abdul Hafeez Ch, Shafqat Nadeem, and Shahbaz Tahir. Jawwad Hamid briefed the Chairman about the entire distribution plan.
