In May 1985 Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was invited to attend and deliver a talk at the Al-Hijaz Conference, Wembley Conference Centre, London, England. The conference was arranged to address current issues in the Muslim Ummah and in particular to foster a greater understanding and comprehension of the scholarly contributions of Ala’Hadrat Imam al-Hind ash-Shah Ahmad Rida Khan al-Qadri.
His Eminence was warmly welcomed by the MWL North Zone sisters. Sr Madiha Zeeshan (MWL North Zone General Secretary) hosted the event. Tilawat was made by Sr Fatima Sumayah & Qasidah Burdah was recited by Sr Riffat Saeed (MWL UK Coordinator).
Millions of people have been affected by heavy rainfall, flash floods and landslides since July, as Pakistan endured more than 80% of its normal total monsoon rainfall in three weeks. Overall, the country sees its eighth cycle of monsoon rains.
Following Jumma prayer at MQI Manchester, His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered a powerful and spiritually enriching nasiha (advice) on the concept of gratitude in Islam. Drawing on deep Islamic principles, he outlined three critical levels of gratitude that every believer must uphold in order to express sincere thanks to Allah Almighty.
