Make your life meaningful through good deeds: President Minhaj-ul-Quran International
A good deed done for the benefit of others becomes ongoing charity, said Dr. Qadri
during a prayer gathering.
The President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Chairman of Aghosh Complex, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has stated that righteous deeds serve as ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for a person and continue to elevate their spiritual rank even after death. He said that the concept of Sadaqah Jariyah emphasizes that a person should not only benefit others during their lifetime but that the blessings of their actions should reach others even after their death.
Declaring righteous deeds as ongoing charity is an integral part of Islamic teachings. Such deeds guarantee success not only in worldly life but also serve as a means of salvation in the hereafter, he added.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted that acts like providing education, welfare work, and spreading knowledge are all forms of Sadaqah Jariyah. The scope of these deeds is vast, and a person can earn great rewards in this world by maintaining sincerity of intention and consistency in action. He expressed these views while addressing a prayer gathering held at Aghosh Complex for the spiritual elevation of the late mother-in-law of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Speaking to the students, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized the need to make life purposeful through righteous deeds. Referring to the teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadith, he explained that any good deed performed for the benefit of others becomes ongoing charity. Citing examples, he said that opening the doors of knowledge for someone, helping a sick person, or feeding the hungry are actions that bring blessings in both this world and the hereafter.
He further advised the youth to use technology and social media for positive purposes in the present era. He encouraged them to utilize their resources to promote goodness and bring positive change in society.
The prayer gathering was attended by Director Aghosh Complex Colonel (Retd.) Mubashir Iqbal, Principal of Tahfiz-al-Quran Institute Muhammad Abbas Naqshbandi, Imran Zafar Butt, along with a large number of teachers and students.
