Foundation day of MQI celebrated in India

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Hyderabad chapter, India) celebrated the 30th foundation day of MQI and organized three-day programs from October 15th to 17th. Different functions were organized at the MQI secretariat in Hayderabad as well as in Minhaj-ul-Quran Model Schools to mark the occasion.

A meeting of life members, workers and followers of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held in the central office on October 15. The speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam including the documentary on MQI’s three decade old struggle were shown to the participants. The sweets were also distributed on the occasion. The participants prayed for the long life of Shaykh-ul-Islam. On October 16, a quiz program was held in the Schools run by MQI India in which the students were asked questions on life and contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The position-holding students were awarded with prizes and shields. The students also cut cake to mark the 30th anniversary of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

On October 17th, Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (India) arranged a meeting of the youths in a huge function hall namely Sayeed Function Hall in Yaqooth Pura locality after the Isha prayers. The Hall was jam-packed with the attendance of the young generation belonging to various parts of India. Mufti Mohammad Nazir Khan gave an attractive speech on the topic of "ZIARAT-E- QUBOOR" (Visit to graves in the light of the Quran and Prophetic Traditions) on the basis of the book written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the same subject. The speech was followed by a question and answer session. Mufti Nazir Khan gave satisfactory answers of the audience. The program ended with Dua for good health and long life of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
