UK-Minhaj Girls Study Circle holds various competitions
Every Sunday, the Minhaj Girls Study Circle at Halifax do activities related to different topics of Islam including learning about the five pillars of Islam through physical activities, coloring activities and quizzes. The children are aged between seven years and 14 years of age. The study circle begins with Quranic recitation and concludes with Naat and dua.
The girls enjoy participating in quizzes related to Islamic topics such as the Islamic months, Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and they enjoy taking part in naat competition. Every week the girls listen to clips from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s English lectures, and then do a quiz related to the clip. They write the information from the clip in their own words to share with group.
During the study circles the girls discuss and learn about the forty Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) in story forms and fun activities. The children have designed posters on Ramadan, Milad-un-Nabi and various topics. The children are rewarded for their hard work and learning through certificates, prizes and lots of appreciation. Recently the Minhaj Girls club held an Eid-ul-Adha party, they played lots of games and participated in completions, such as pass the parcels, charades game on Islam-related words, Islamic quiz competition, Naats, and lots more.
