Spiritual gathering held to remember epoch of Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW)

By the Grace of Almighty Allah Halqa-e-Rajab Mehfil for women was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre Nelson. The introduction of the weekly Halqa-e-Rajab Mehfil extends across all branches of Minhaj-ul-Quran and aims to inform participants about the journey of Miraaj in the light of the Holy Quran and Hadith. The Halqa-e-Rajab Mehfils have proved extremely popular amongst local female residents who feel motivated to attend and feel they gain knowledge and inner peace by participating.

The programme commenced at 11 am with the recitation of Darood for half an hour to bestow salutations upon our Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Following recitation of Darood, ‘Wazaif’ provided by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri were beautifully read in congregation. After this Sister Ghulam Fatimah (MWL Nelson President) did a beautiful recitation from the Holy Quran with Sister Hajra providing the translation of the verses from Irfan-ul-Quran.

Following this Sister Ghulam Fatimah engaged the interested listeners about the concept of Halqa-e-Rajab and a brief introduction was provided about the Journey of Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW) that would be explained in great detail in each session of the Rajab study circle. She kept the listeners engaged by reading from the Shaykh-ul-Islam's book 'Falsa e Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW)' in the light of the Holy Quran and Hadith. She explained that the Journey of Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW) is such a unique and rare experience that was never seen before or will ever occur again. From Chapter one of the book the term 'Mojza' (miracle) was explained in great detail along with the term 'Ayat'.

The Mehfil continued with recitation of Qaseedah Burdah Sharif followed by melodious recitation of Darood Paak in congregation. Heading towards the end of the programme a heartfelt Zikr led by Sisters Parveen and Shanaz had all the participants fully involved as did the Salaat o Salaam. The Mehfil concluded with a heart touching Dua led by Sister Shagufta. The sisters were motivated and encouraged to attend further forthcoming Halqas.
