Italy: Prof Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Addresses Ahl al Bayt Conference in Cento

Cento, Italy (20 June 2026): Chairman Supreme Council, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, addressed the Dhikr-e-Ahl al-Bayt (علیہم السلام) Conference at Minhaj-ul-Quran Islamic Centre Cento, Italy, where he spoke on the unparalleled sacrifice of Imam Husayn (علیہ السلام) and the enduring significance of the love of the Ahl al-Bayt for every believer.

In his address, Dr. Hassan Qadri stated that Imam Husayn (علیہ السلام), through his supreme sacrifice, purified Islam from falsehood and un-Islamic ideologies for all generations to come. He referred to the saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, “Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn,” emphasizing the unique spiritual bond between the Prophet ﷺ and his beloved grandson.

He further highlighted the Prophetic guidance regarding adherence to the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt, stating that attachment to the Qur’an and the family of the Prophet ﷺ safeguards believers from misguidance. Dr. Hassan Qadri stressed that no heart can attain true faith and Islam without love for the Ahl al-Bayt, describing this as a clear teaching of the Qur’an and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

He said that true love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ demands love for those whom the Prophet ﷺ loved. Drawing lessons from Karbala, he remarked that Yazid represents a false and corrupt ideology, whereas Imam Husayn (علیہ السلام) stands as an eternal symbol of truth, justice, and righteousness.

Dr. Hassan Qadri urged attendees to take pride in their love and devotion for the Ahl al-Bayt, describing it as a means of spiritual success and a path leading towards Paradise.

The conference was attended by scholars, religious leaders, political and social figures, distinguished members of the Pakistani community, office-bearers of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Cento, and a large number of members, workers, and affiliates of the organization.
