Arrangements for International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference at final stage

The arrangements for the upcoming 30th annual International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference to be held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International are in the final stage. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, the head of central administrative committee mandated to oversee the preparations for Milad Conference, Secretary General of MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and Secretary of the central administrative committee Jawad Hamid will visit Minar-e-Pakistan on Saturday and inspect the preparations being made for the mega event of MQI.

The hundreds of thousands of the faithful will attend the International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference only from Lahore and adjoining areas while millions of people from across 250 cities of Pakistan would take part in the proceedings through video links at their respective places. The chief highlight of the event is the keynote address of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri that he would deliver through video link. What is noteworthy about the International Milad Conference this time round is that only people from Lahore will attend the central ceremony only, while people of other cities will hold their own gatherings and watch the proceedings through huge-sized LED screens.
