Elder brother of Qudwat-ul-Aulia Sayyinda Tahir Alauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani passes away

Hazrat Pir Sayyid Ahmad Zafar al-Gillani al-Baghdadi, the elder brother of MQI’s spiritual patron Qudwat-ul-Aulia Sayyinda Tahir Alauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani al-Baghdadi, passed away the other day. He held the privileged position of being current Sajjada Nasheen of the shrine of Huzoor Ghous-ul-Azam Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) and ‘Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf’ in Iraq. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Raheeq Abbasi, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, leaders, workers of MQI and PAT have expressed their deep sense of grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Sayyid Ahmad Zafar al-Qadri al-Baghdadi. They condoled with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
