MSM holds seminar to mark Iqbal Day
MSM hosted a seminar to mark the birth anniversary of Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal in which a large number of students belonging to different colleges took part. The participants of the seminar adopted a resolution on the occasion which demanded of the government to immediately enforce Urdu as official language and approve teaching of Iqbal studies as compulsory subject in the educational institutions of Pakistan.
Ch. Irfan Yousaf, President of MSM, presided over the seminar, whereas other distinguished speakers who addressed the seminar included Mian Samar Abbas, Answer Mahmood, Sardar Owais, and Malik Saeed Alam.
Ch. Irfan Yousaf, while speaking on the occasion, said that students and youth who are followers of Iqbal’s philosophy and ideology are working hard day in and day out for change in the system through peaceful and democratic means. He said that we will not rest till we make Pakistan truly democratic in line with the aspirations of our founding fathers. He said that the revolution march which started off on August 14, 2014 conveyed an unmistakable message to the nation that PAT workers remain eager to bring about change in the system through political struggle and their determination to achieve the destination is overwhelming.
