Statement of Speaker of National Assembly is irresponsible: PAT

Terming the statement of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as deplorable and irresponsible, a spokesperson of Pakistan Awami Tehreek has said that no one needs to carry out any planning against the rulers who are so adept at shooting themselves in the foot.

He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has gone to India in connection with the Sufi Conference and he is very articulately and beautifully responding to allegations of terrorism on the Indian media. He said that the PAT Chairman is projecting the peaceful message of Islam and Pakistan in a very effective manner. He said that on questions of Muslim extremism, he is talking about controlling the Hindu extremism. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri gave dozens of interviews to the Indian media during his short stay in which he very ably and boldly defended the positions of Pakistan.
