Miracles do not need materialistic justifications: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that all those events that are revealed by the command of Allah through the hands of Prophets (peace and blessings be upon him) and are beyond the capacity of human mind to grasp are called miracles. The strong faith, unwavering commitment, and unflinching intuition and certitude are required to fully benefit from the event of Miraj. He added that each and every word uttered by the sacred tongue of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the final word, ultimate decision and fundamental part of faith. He noted that the five-time prayers are the biggest blessing of Miraj-ul-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him).
Dr Qadri stated this while delivering the address on Miraj-ul-Nabi congregation that those who set rationalism, experiments, and intellect as the standards for rejecting or accepting the Miraj epoch do not only face the doctrinal confusion but also suffer from illusion that they have superior knowledge. He added that the miracle does not require materialistic justifications or scientific explanations for its interpretation.
The great spiritual gathering at the occasion of monthly Khatm-us-Salat was held in central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in which the MQI workers, leaders, and people from all walks of life massively participated. The women also participated in a large number in the gathering.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that each and every verse of Quran is the miracle, the Quran is itself the greatest eternal miracle of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and it is the most unambiguous and categorical proof of the prophethood of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He added while further substantiating his statement that the very challenge that Allah Almighty has given in His Book to the non-believers to produce even single verse similar to the verse contained in the Holy Quran vindicates that each and every verse is a miracle and it is beyond the capacity of man to meet this challenge.
He noted the meaning of verse used in Holy Quran is miracle, the unambiguous argument (Burhan), and Bayy’ana. He concluded that the discoveries in the universe would continue to bear witness to the epoch of Miraj and the miracles represent the greatness of the prophets, the blessing and the all-encompassing power of Allah Almighty.
