Plan ready for facilitation of the overseas Muslims for slaughtering of animals: Syed Amjad Shah
Minhaj Welfare Foundation, the subsidiary organization of MQI, has finalized the comprehensive plan to facilitate the Muslim families living in Europe, North America and the Middle East. The registration desks have been set up at the central secretariat, Aagosh complex and the central office of the country director. Thousands of people will take part in the collective sacrifice that will be offered on Eid-ul-Azha this year.
Briefing a high powered meeting, MWF Director Syed Amjad Ali Shah said that the Foundation has hired the services of the state of the art slaughterhouse this year as well. He said that with the aid of this facility, the distribution of the meat of the slaughtered animals among the poor will be ensured within the minimum possible time in a safe manner.
He said that it has been our earnest endeavor that the sacrificial meat should reach the deserving and the skins of the slaughtered animals are used for the purpose of looking after the poor and orphan children as well as for the provision of water to the far-flung areas of the country. He said that this whole process is completed with utmost honesty and the best of intentions under a strict supervisory regime.
Syed Amjad Hussain Shah further said that MWF provides the facility of collective sacrifice in which thousands of the Muslims are accommodated who have the financial means to afford the sacrifice but are deprived of facilities. He said that the Foundation has been rendering this valuable service for the last two decades, stating that the number of those sacrificing the animals on Eid is increasing every year, which is a reflection of confidence in the MQI.
