MQI is promoting the scholarly culture of dialogue: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while addressing the meeting of naib Nazimeen Aala at the central secretariat, has said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has not produced the debaters but the advocates of Islam. He said that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is promoting the scholarly culture of dialogue and engagement instead of competition. He said the pivot of Shaykh-ul-Islam's intellectual, revivalist, and scholarly efforts is the establishment of an exemplary society structured on Islamic principles.
The meeting was attended by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Rafique Najam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Noorullah Siddiqui, and Sidra Karamat. Sardar Shakir Mazari, MSM president Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, and MSM head Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf attended the meeting virtually.
The participants of the meeting paid rich tributes to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for introducing a new syllabus of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. The meeting also constituted a committee consisting of the officeholders and the heads of forums to extend an invitation to the religious seminaries to become part of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan.
