Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) is one of the greatest miracles in human history: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Allah Almighty endowed on the Holy Prophet (pbuh) the knowledge to foresee events happening until the Day of Judgment during the Night of Ascension and he (pbuh) observed the secrets of universe himself. He said that the description of Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) as the journey of the soul is against human intellect. He said that if the soul alone undertook the journey, then what was the need of sending Buraq? He said that the sending of Buraq is a message that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was summoned to observe the truth in his physical being.

In a statement on the occasion of Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh), Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) is one great miracle that has been endorsed by the Holy Quran. He said that among the miracles of the Holy Prophet (pbuh), the Holy Quran is his abiding miracle. He said that the Journey of Ascension is one sign among the Signs of Allah, adding that the epoch of Ascension is related to one's faith.

Shaykh-ul-Islam said that the sacred person of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is a living miracle being an argument in favour of 'Tawhid '(Oneness of Allah). He said that five prayers is also a gift of the Journey of Ascension. He asked the believers to hold this gift of prayers close to their heart, adding that 'Salah' is a guarantee of success in the world and the hereafter.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the excellence to be achieved by Muslims lies in the obedience of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said that the system given by him (pbuh) is comprehensive and perfect, and is also a guarantee of peace and goodness. He prayed to Allah Almighty to keep humanity in general and Muslims in particular safe from all kinds of catastrophes.
