Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attends Doha Forum 2022

President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the Doha Forum on a special invitation of the Forum's organizers. He presented his work about economics and environmental pollution to various renowned leaders and economists around the globe.

Doha Forum is a global platform for dialogue that brings policy leaders, thinkers, intellectuals and academicians together to discuss critical challenges facing our world, and to build innovative and action-driven networks.

Under the banner ‘Diplomacy, Dialogue, Diversity’, Doha Forum promotes the interchange of ideas and discourse towards policy making and action-oriented recommendations. In a world where borders are porous, our challenges and solutions are also interlinked.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the organizers upon the successful conduct of the 20th edition of #DohaForum2022. He hoped that the consensus developed for the resolution of issues by the policy makers would be implemented in its true letter and spirit.

President MQI underlined the need for collection action to address the raging issues facing the world. He said that at a time when populism threatens to undo the concept of economic globalisation and push us into the cocoon of hyper nationalism, it is important to politically support the instruments that strengthen globalism. He said that despite the fact that the global institutions have been found wanting and there are genuine concerns about their performance particularly among the developing countries, they still are humanity's best bet. He said that urgent reforms are needed to make these institutions democratic and efficient to offer solutions to the problems. He appreciated Doha Forum for spearheding policy dialogue and termed it a step forward for the establishment of global consensus.

Doha Forum is an effective and meaningful platform for discussing contemporary challenges and for proposing their practical solutions. It holds regular brainstorming sessions on the ongoing global issues and crisis. The effective role of the policy makers in this forum makes it all the more worthwhile. To address the rising economic, social, humanitarian and environmental issues, the role of this Forum is valuable in proposing their solutions and countering strategies.

President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presented his research work on environmental pollution to H.E. Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Qatar at #DohaForum2022. He appreciated the work and efforts made through that research.

President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is giving a copy of "A Real Sketch of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)" to World Economic Forum President Borge Brende. The internationally known book has been published by the Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the book highlights through authentic historical references the teachings of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) pertaining to the respect, survival and well-being of humanity and international brotherhood.

One may see in practical form the sayings and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for the promotion of international brotherhood as the ruler of the Madina State.

He said the Prophet of Islam ﷺ founded the first multi-faith society on the planet earth in which each citizen, irrespective of one's faith, creed and race, was guaranteed protection of life and property as well as practice of the religious and cultural norms by the state.
