Senior MQI leader Haji Riaz Ahmad Qadri passes away

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his profound grief and sorrow on the passing of Haji Riaz Ahmad Qadri, a senior MQI leader who remained associated with Gosha-e-Durood till his last breath. In his condolence message, he paid rich tributes to the services of late Haji Riaz and said that he was a noble and pious person who made the service to MQI the mission of his life. He said that the entire MQI family has lost a dedicated, committed and selfless member, adding that we share the grief with the bereaved family. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.

Meanwhile Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, GM Malik, Jawwad Hamid, Rafique Najam, Noorullah Siddiqui, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Sayyid Musharraf Shah, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Rana Nafees Hussain Qadri and other leaders also expressed their heartfelt condolences and most sincere sympathies on the sad demise of Haji Riaz Ahmad Qadri. They termed his loss as huge and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.

The funeral prayer for the deceased was offered in PGECHS Phase 1. A large number of people belonging to various walks of life including Raja Zahid Mahmood, Allama Latif Madni, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimur, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Abid Bashir, Baba Ghulam Farid, Ali Raza offered the funeral prayer and prayed for his soul.
