MUL students visit MQI central secretariat
A delegation of BS students belonging to Minhaj University Lahore paid a visit to the MQI central secretariat where they visited Gosha-e-Durood, Minhaj sale center, media office, Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Farid-e-Millat Research Institute, and the production department. They took keen interest in the pictorial gallery that depicts the various phases of the struggle of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Noorullah Siddiqui, Adil Zaheer, Qari Khalid Hamid Kazmi, and Dr. Iqbal Chishti briefed the delegates about the working of their respective departments. Allama Hassan Jamati of the courses department assisted the delegation.
In their remarks after the visit, the students said they were deeply impressed by the services Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was rendering to promote the Islamic message of peace, love and interfaith harmony. They said there is no doubt that Shaykh-ul-Islam is a great scholarly personality whose contributions are a matter of pride for Pakistanis. They said that the youth and students have particularly benefited from the teachings of Shaykh-ul-Islam.
The students said they were surprised to learn that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has written hundreds of books and delivered lectures on thousands of topics that constitute a precious treasure of knowledge. They said MQI is spreading awareness about the Islamic teachings with a focus on spiritual and moral training, something which makes this movement globally distinct. They also expressed their pleasant surprise at the vast scale where MQI is using social media to spread the message of hope and positivity around the world.
