The Holy Prophet ﷺ Declared Hazrat Ali (RA) as the "Gate of Knowledge": Allama Rana Idrees
Addressing a gathering on the topic of "The Virtues of Maula-e-Kainat Hazrat Ali (RA)" during Jumu'ah at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran, said that the Holy Prophet ﷺ referred to Hazrat Ali (RA) as "Bab-ul-Ilm" (the Gate of Knowledge). He stated that Hazrat Ali's (RA) sermons and judgments serve as a beacon of guidance for humanity until the Day of Judgment.
He described Hazrat Ali (RA) as an extraordinary model of knowledge, wisdom, courage, justice, and self-sacrifice. Every moment of his blessed life was dedicated to the propagation, protection, and practical implementation of Islam.
"Under the mentorship of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, Hazrat Ali (RA) received a unique training that remains a source of guidance for humanity. He disseminated Islamic knowledge and educated people about the teachings of Islam," he maintained.
Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees emphasized that every aspect of Hazrat Ali's (RA) life exemplified justice and fairness. During his caliphate, Hazrat Ali (RA) set unparalleled examples of justice and equality that continue to guide the principles of governance today. He never compromised on truth and justice and devoted every moment of his life to serving others and seeking the pleasure of Allah.
He further noted that Hazrat Ali (RA) prioritized helping the poor and needy. His life embodied the greatness and character of Ahl-e-Bayt. Every moment of his life testifies to the sacrifices made by Ahl-e-Bayt for the supremacy of Islam.
Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees urged the Muslim Ummah to draw inspiration from the teachings of Hazrat Ali (RA), emphasizing that adhering to his thoughts and actions can transform society into a cradle of peace and harmony. He concluded by highlighting that Hazrat Ali’s (RA) life is an ideal model for youth, and following his teachings can lead to personal and collective improvement.
