Minhaj Ulema Council Lahore organizes "Shan-e-Ali Al-Murtaza (RA) Conference"
The Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulema Council Lahore organized the quot;Shan-e-Ali Al-Murtaza (RA) Conference" in connection with the birth anniversary of Syedna Ali Al-Murtaza (RA). The conference was presided over by the central president of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulema Council, Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui. Prominent leaders of the council, including Dr. Allama Mir Asif Akbar Qadri, Director-General of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, attended the event.
Speakers at the conference highlighted the character and teachings of Hazrat Ali (RA) with deep devotion, emphasizing his virtues and noble qualities.
In his address, Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui stated that Hazrat Ali (RA) was a great commander, a paragon of bravery, an ocean of knowledge and wisdom, and the Caliph of the Muslims. He was a gentle and eloquent individual, yet his mere name struck fear into the hearts of Islam’s enemies on the battlefield. Above all, he was a devoted companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The life of Hazrat Ali (RA) exemplified piety, worship, and love for Allah and His Messenger (PBUH). His courage, knowledge, and sense of justice serve as a guide for all Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) referred to Hazrat Ali as the "Gate of Knowledge." His sermons, decisions, and sayings are treasures of wisdom that will continue to guide humanity till the end of time.
Hazrat Ali (RA) always upheld truth and never bowed to oppression. His decisions were based on justice, even if it meant ruling against close relatives. He prioritized Allah’s pleasure over worldly comforts. Loving the Ahl-e-Bayt (the family of the Prophet) is an essential part of faith for the Muslim Ummah.
Hazrat Ali's (RA) entire life was a testament to patience and perseverance. Whether facing challenges or opposition from hypocrites, he always upheld patience. His martyrdom stands as the highest example of sacrifice and endurance.
In his speech, Dr. Allama Mir Asif Akbar Qadri cited the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): "Love for Ali is a sign of faith, and enmity towards Ali is a sign of hypocrisy." This hadith highlights the greatness and esteemed position of Hazrat Ali (RA).
The greatest lesson from Hazrat Ali’s blessed life is to remain steadfast in truth. He demonstrated through his actions that true success lies in sacrificing for Allah’s pleasure and upholding justice. His life serves as a perfect example for youth.
Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri urged the Muslim Ummah to seek guidance from Hazrat Ali's teachings, emphasizing that adopting his thoughts and actions could transform society into a hub of peace and harmony.
The conference was attended by prominent scholars, including Allama Ashfaq Chishti, Mufti Khalil Hanafi, Allama Usman Sialvi, Allama Abdul Khaliq Barvi, Allama Aamir Nadeem, Allama Javed Arif, and Allama Iftikhar Chishti, among others.
