"Martyrs of Badr Conference" organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council
The Martyrs of Badr Conference was organized by the Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council Lahore, featuring addresses from Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, Secretary General of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, and Allama Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqi, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, along with other esteemed scholars.
Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar highlighted the significance of the Battle of Badr and the esteemed status of its martyrs, stating that it was the first and decisive battle between truth and falsehood, where a small group of Muslims achieved victory through the power of faith and trust in Allah. He emphasized that the Battle of Badr teaches us the values of unity, selflessness, and sacrifice—qualities that are desperately needed in today’s world.
Allama Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqi paid tribute to the martyrs of Badr, describing them as the blessed souls whom Allah Himself honored with the prestigious title of "Ashab-e-Badr". He stated that divine help and support were with the Muslims during this battle, proving that success is not dependent on numbers or resources but rather on the strength of faith and complete trust in Allah.
The conference also featured speeches from Professor Dr. Masood Ahmad Mujahid, Mufti Khalil Hanafi, and Allama Mufti Muhammad Rafiq al-Qadri, along with other prominent scholars. A large number of scholars, spiritual leaders, and individuals from various schools of thought participated in the event. The conference concluded with special prayers for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah and the stability of the country.
