Addressing the youth who came from the various parts of the UK and Europe to attend two-day Al-Hidayah camp on the second day in Manchester, MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that knowledge, good deeds, and good intentions open the doors towards progress. He said that knowledge without deeds/action is of no use and if knowledge is complemented by action and one has good intentions, then such a life can be regarded as successful and productive one.

The ceremony marking the 46th 'Urs' of Farid-e-Millat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri (R.A), the father of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, was held here. Addressing the ceremony, Allama Sayyid Hidayat Rasool Shah, the leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, said that the Sufis and Friends of Allah continue to remain ascendant due to their love for humanity. He said that there is Hadith that says that he who does not give his thanks to the people does not thank Allah.
Addressing thousands of the faithful attending the international spiritual gathering, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Allah Almighty loves those who remain awake at night in worship and seek His forgiveness. He said that according to a Hadith, this blessed night is superior to thousands of nights and this gift was only presented to the Holy Prophet’s (SAW) Umma. He said that those who pray for peace, forgiveness, and pleasure of Allah on this night have their prayers granted.
