Hundreds of young Muslims will attend an anti-terrorism camp aimed at encouraging them away from extremism. The three-day event, called Al-Hidayah 2017, takes place at Keele University in Staffordshire. Organiser Minhaj-ul-Quran UK says it will address misconceptions about Islam used to radicalise young British Muslims.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK, will host a major "anti-terror" training camp, in order to equip more than 500 young British Muslims with the necessary theological tools, in order to counter the narrative of ISIS and similar groups in their respective communities and online.
The first ever European al-Hidayah Camp, organized by Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International Norway in the first weekend of August, placed extremism and radicalization on the agenda. More than 450 European Muslim Youth across the Europe emerged with the message of peace, reconciliation and dialogue.
As part of Minhaj Dawah project, Peace and Anti-terror curriculum books are being promoted by Mysuru team. The Mysuru team set up book stall and gifted books to police personnel and government officials as part of this effort. Minhaj Books Stall was setup at Aimman Function Hall, Siddiqa Nagar, Mysuru during Eid Milan program gathering and was visited by Muslim and non-Muslim brothers.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (South Africa chapter) arranged a meeting of religious scholars of different schools of thought with Dr. Hassan Mohi-din-Qadri in auditorium hall of Al Aqdas Masjid, Cape Town. Dr. Hassan discussed comprehensively the concepts of Jihad and peace in this gathering.

An Ulama and Mashaykh Convention was arranged in the central secretariat of MQI on August 10, 2016 under the banner of Minhaj Ulama Council in which Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave permission of Hadith along with a lecture on the principles of Hadith. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the holy Quran and Hadith are the basis of whole belief system. He said that claim of believing in the Holy Quran after denial of Hadith is based on falsehood.
Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri with the Head of the Counter-Terror Department. He explained the meaning of Islamic rules and regulations of Jihad to counter arguments of terrorists. Both persons agreed to continue this discussion in near future and promised to work together on this topic.

New Delhi: Although Narendra Modi – led government at the Centre has often been accused of being anti-Muslim, a 'World Sufi Program' concluded here in the national capital peacefully on Sunday. The forum where Muslim scholars from more that 20 countries participated gave a message that the community is against terrorism. Prominent Muslim leaders from around the globe condemned violence in the name of Islam at the International Sufi Conference and said that it is sin to misuse the name of Islam in order to spread terror. Speaking at the Ramlila Ground here on the final day of a four-day event, Pakistani politician and Islamic scholar Tahir-ul-Qadri said, "The only aim of ISIS, al Qaeda, Taliban is to kill people, nothing to do with Islam. He further said, "India & Pakistan are not enemies, their real enemy is terrorism, ANI reported.
ISIS is expanding-from Iraq, it has captured parts of Syria, it's fighting on Turkey's borders, Yemen is already under its influence and it is sending people or appointing representatives in the Indian subcontinent and other countries, said Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

The four day World Sufi Forum that concluded with a big rallly at grand Ramlila ground in New Delhi has resolved to fight against terrorism, it in all form. The forum came out with a declaration against extremism and outrightly condemned terrorism. Addressing the conference, Pakistan politician and Islamic scholar Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri said that the real enemy of India and Pakistan is terrorism. He praised the role of India in promoting world peace and lashed out at the ISIS saying what it is doing is not Jihad, but conflict. He also condemned ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Taliban and said they are against the Islam. Mr Qadri said separatism is being promoted by narrow minded people for the past 50 years in name of Islam adding that Sufism should be taught in both countries as it can help reduce terrorism.
Sufi scholar and Pakistani cleric today asked both India and Pakistan to come together to fight against growing terrorism in south Asia. Addressing a huge rally of World Sufi Forum at Ramlila ground in New Delhi Qadri said that the two neighbouring countries should not treat each other as enemy. Terming terrorism as the biggest threat facing India and Pakistan, he said the time has come to effectively deal with terrorists as well as those who spread mischief and violence in the name of religion. “Gharibi aur dahshatgardi dono mulkon ki dushman hai”, he said. Quadri also lashed out at the ISIS saying what it’s doing is not Jihad, but conflict. He condemned ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Taliban.
