Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved over the passing of Allama Ghulam Haider Khadmi
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri held a long meeting with the scholars of Farid-e-Millat Research Institute (FMRi). He discussed the progress on the research work as well as the books in the pipeline. He gave special directions for the publications of new books and stated clearly that there should be no compromise on the quality of the printing. He said that the upcoming books should be published at the earliest so that they could reach those looking for them to quench their thirst for knowledge.
Soul-warming new books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri have been published. These new publications are part of the series on the Concept of Oneness of God. The book “Aqida e Tawhid (Iman bil-Allah)” consists of five chapters and 223 subjects and has been written in easy-to-understand and relatable language along with the reference of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
In an ongoing lecture series on the topic of 'Taharat al-Qulub' (purification of the heart), MQI patron-in-chief and founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued with his talk on the spiritual ailments and their cure. He said that the sins a man commits relate to both his outer and inner selves. He said that Allah Almighty considers the sins of the inner self first of all, not the apparent actions.
A grand unveiling ceremony of Kashmiri translation of Irfan-ul-Quran was held in convocation hall of Shaikh-ul-Aalam Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal Srinagar on 24.03.2022 wherein a large number of intellectuals, members of MQI, academicians and scholars participated. The event was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International India, Jammu & Kashmir (MQIIJK) and was hosted by its Srinagar unit.
Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Shab-e-Barat, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Shab-e-Barat is the night to beseech Allah Almighty and ask Him for forgiveness. He said there is a prophetic tradition that says that Allah Almighty listens to all the prayers made after the mid-night. He said that the best of worships is to repent of one's sins forever and make a vow to live a life of a piety. He said that Allah forgives every sin of those who seek His forgiveness during Shab-e-Barat except the backbiters and the killers.

A Founder's Day ceremony was held under the banner of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) in connection with the 71st birthday celebrations of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is also founding Chairman of Board of Governors of MUL. Addressing the ceremony Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar said that after the terrorist attacks of 7/11, the situation for Muslims became very tough in Europe. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri gave his historic religious edict against terrorism, and extremism and proved that Islam is the protector of humanity and doesn't have anything to do with extremism.
