With the help of Almighty Allah and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and on his family) 10 sisters attended ‘Halqa-e-Durood’ gathering, which was held under the banner of Minahj Women League (Sandwell) on February 23, 2015. The programme was organized at the residence of Sadia Bibi (Dawah Secretary, MWL). The gathering started promptly at 1pm with recitation of the Glorious Quran by Tasleem Kauser (President of MWL Sandwell), followed by Nasheeds by Sadia Bibi.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Victoria) organized the 4th JASHNE Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference at Preston Town Hall, Preston, Melbourne Australia on 7th of February 2015. The proceedings of the Conference (SAW) got underway with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Naat and Nasheeds were presented by MQI kids Nasheed group and Umati kids Nasheed group.
The Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference was organised by Minhaj ul Quran International (Bahrain chapter) on the occasion of 12th of Rabi ul Awal. The Conference was attended to by a large number of participants from Indian, Pakistani and Bahraini community, with their hearts filled with love of our Beloved Prophet (SAW).
On 3rd February, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nelson, held an Annual ‘Giyarvee Sharif’ spiritual gathering in honour of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Gilani (RA). The gathering was organised for the young female students who attend the education centre on a daily basis by the senior teacher Sister Tahira Basharat and other members of staff.
Minhaj College for Women to celebrate the Annual Mehfil-e-Millad-un-Nabi (SAW)
On (Saturday) 24th of January 2015, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women and Muslim Youth League UK Sisters organised a Mawlid entitled Muhammad (SAW), the Merciful. The hall was full of guests, not an empty seat in sight. Around 500 people attended the programme. It was a bilingual Mawlid gathering, the first half was in English for the youth and the second half in Urdu for the elder generation.
The members of the Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Gambian, Lebanese, and American communities from the Dallas Fort Worth area joined in a night of celebration commemorating the Mawlid-un-Nabi program hosted by the Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas at Jame’ Hasan al-Basri. The celebration took place on the 18th of January.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, in this age of temptation, where there is an increase in the attacks of the Shaitan, there is also an increase in the number of devotees of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who are very enthusiastic to celebrate birthday of their beloved Prophet (SAW) and show their love for him (SAW). The proof and evidence for this is the Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) conference, which was attended by a large number of people.
On the 16th of January, Minhaj Women League (Bradford) held their annual Mawlid 'Night of celebration to mark the birth of the Beloved Messenger Prophet Muhammad (SAW)' at Orissa Dining, 38-52 Manningham Lane, Bradford BD1 3EA.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Bradford) had the privilege to host the annual Mawlid event for their students. The special guest for this event was Baji Fatima Mahshadi, President of Women League UK. The event consisted of various performances by the students for their mothers and families that were in attendance. The venue for the event was Orissa dinner restaurant and the programme was held on 16th January 2015.
On the 11th of January 2015, Minhaj Women and Sisters League (France) organised a program to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW) on the occasion of the 12th Rabi ul Awwal. Throughout the programme, the message of peace, tolerance and humanity was preached, which is the true message of Islam. The special guest speaker was Sumaira Faisal (coordinator Minhaj Women League Europe). The programme was presented by Mrs Ishrat Jawad and Mrs Arooj Fatima Qazi (president MWL France).
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – In an unprecedented event in history of the subcontinent, Bishop House Catholic Church in Lahore on Friday observed Milad-e-Nabi (PBUH) event together with Minhajul Quran Interfaith Relations. Members of various faiths attended this special event. Dr Raheeq Abbasi, Arch Bishop Sebastian Francis Sha, Sardar Ramesh Sindh, Dr James Chinon, Father Francis Nadeem, Kashif Nawab, Pandit Bhagat, Yousaf Binjori, Faizur Rehman Durani, G.M. Malik, Raja Zahid, Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Qazi Faiz, Raja Nadeem and Sohail Ahmed Raza addressed the gathering.
Minhaj Women League (Dallas chapter) organized a Milad-un-Nabi celebration in the beautifully decorated “Uways Al Qarani” auditorium hall of Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center Dallas. The initial proceedings of the event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Hamd by Sister Sadia Shakeel, who has been gifted by Allah (SWT) with a beautiful voice.
The annual, grand Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference (SAW) was held on 10th of January, 2015. The programme was organized in Jamia Mohammadia Halifax. Over 500 women of local community including youth participated in this blessed gathering. The President MWL Halifax Sister Nahid conducted this programme and she was assisted by Sister Iiffat (Secretary Gen MWL Halifax).
On 9th January 2015, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson held the annual Milad programme for young female students who attend the education centre. The mehfil was a great success with members of the local community and mothers of the students in attendance at the event to show their support for their young daughters.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said Islam has no bearing on terrorism, adding the menace of terrorism is the biggest and frontmost problem of the country. Addressing via video-link a large gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan in connection with Milad Conference, he called for all political parties to rise to the occasion in order to uproot terrorism from the country, adding the Model Town tragedy was a state terrorism.
International Milad Conference
To express its rejoicing at the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) held its annual International Milad Conference and commemorated the birthday of the Messenger on the sprawling lawns of Minar-i-Pakistan on 3 January 2015. The MQI chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri addressed the participants of the religious gathering via video link. The topic of his speech was “love for humanity and non-violence”.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the terrorists massacred schoolchildren in Peshawar and innocent people were killed in Model Town through state terrorism. He said that the holy Prophet (PBUH) forbade killing of women, asking with what face will those who killed women in Model Town present themselves before the Prophet (PBUH)? He said that had present political system not protected terrorists, there would not have been any need of military courts.
Supt Lardner announced a joint partnership between MQI London and Newham Police for 2015, “We will be visiting and addressing the congregation at Friday prayers every three months. We will also be organising workshops with women, the youth and members of the mosque. Our focus will be to concentrate on areas such as domestic violence, extremism and issues affecting the local youth in that area. He further added, there will also be an ‘Open Surgery’ at the end of every month at the mosque, a great opportunity for members to discretely speak to a member of the local police about a concerning matter.”
